Sharing the Love

Just to let you, my faithful readers and commenters, know that I have installed and activated the dofollow plugin on this site, so that you will now get the benefits of linkage for all your comments.

For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about:

nofollow is a tag introduced by google a couple of years ago in a somewhat misguided attempt to prevent comment and trackback spam, by allowing webmasters to label certain links as ‘untrusted’, so that they would not pass pagerank to sites that they linked to.

By default, Wordpress marks all the comment links with a nofollow attribute, and I have installed a plugin to change that behaviour.

    I didnt know such a plugin exists. I think its a great idea as I am finding all these google traffic restrictions quite frustrating. One day my post is on the top of the SERPs the next day its gone completely.
