I just found out that one my heroes, Robert Anton Wilson, died yesterday morning.

I don’t know what to say, he is the one person responsible for getting me to learn to use my brain, and not take anyone too seriously. Although I have never met him, he thought me how to think, and to doubt. He thought me about how beliefs are just tools to be used so long as we need them, knowing that they could turn out to be wrong at any moment.

I still cannot believe that the world has been deprived of his humor and wisdom.

I miss him.
